    These are so pointless. We didn't sign JT instead of Kardi, they played a year together. Without the Marleau trade they wouldn't have been able to sign both Matthews and Marner. That was Lou's fine work to give a 37 year old that much term

    I'd argue the decision to sign JT made Kadri expendable.

    I think that if we didn't sign JT then we wouldn've been able to keep that pick and swallow Marleau's deal for a year
