Think that deal looks decent for Meier honestly.
don’t love it but it’s not bad.
still there is a solid chance another team Like NJD or NYI beat that offer.

If they want to move him for nothing and clear all of his cap space right now he 100% has negative value. In the offseason I think it is a different question entirely and they could easily get a Bjorkstrand/Brown type return for him of some combination of second and third rounders
