Moving Barrie creates a hole on the Oilers RHD, Remove him and Drouin from the deal.
I don't think the Oilers move the '23 first just for Edmundson, maybe a second or the '24 first (though I know Edmundson might fetch a 1st at TDL).

Some people think Mony gets a first but I don’t. I think he’s worth a second and Kapenen for cap purposes and a fresh start. I think Mony fits perfect for you 3C for a playoff run to where Carter has struggled

I could see Edmonton possibly trading Puljujarvi for Edmundson, but you'd have to remove all other pieces. As proposed, they wouldn't even answer the phone.
