I don't know if NJD should be trading away goalies though

As a neutral fan, I can't see Montreal retaining that long on Anderson's contract. I agree it's required to make moving Anderson an even slight possibility, but that's a long time to retain.

Even with the retention, a first in return is unlikely. Maybe a shorter term cap dump or struggling prospect, but it won't be much.

Also tempting. But Daws would be sticking point. With Blackwood’s inconsistencies, we need to hang onto goaltending depth. Daws has played well in AHL and had some moments at NHL level last year.

Maybe Brennan. Or a skater prospect.
