The Sabres don't need forwards. And I hate to say it, but armia is going to cost something to move, and that's if somebody will take him, and they won't. Case in point, the Sabres just waived hinostroza who is making half of what armia is, and he doesn't have two extra years left. Nobody would take him as a waiver claim at 1.7m. Who is going to take armia at 3.4 for 2 extra years? And armia is making more money than his aav (his salary is 4.8! And 3.8 for the final 2 years), which isn't a selling point

I’d say it’s “doubtful” from the Sabres
Not that Armia is a bad player, but he is overpaid on that contract for 2 more years after this

If we don’t plan on bringing back either Okposo or Girgensons,
then maybe we’d see him as a replacement
But again, he’s be an expensive one
So my guess would be “probably not”

If they don't bring back Girgensons or Okposo, they have replacements in Rochester
