He's easily going to get the Forsberg contract and he's even more valuable than Forsberg. So 8x8 is quite unlikely.

I think he gets a bump up from Fiala...probably $8.25m to $8.5m

My worry if we acquired Meier and signed him to some huge $9m+ deal, then turned around and offer Bratt significantly less, then Bratt probably takes his OQ and is one-and-done.

You're gonna need 50% retention on TM or move another contract has to be moved of same value. AJ is in his final year so this is a trade this season. Our cap is not enough to take on Timo even if they take AJ.

I would rather see him add a player with term at deadline...and only have to worry about Bratt (and other in-house RFAs) in off-season.
