Canucks don’t need to bring in more crap, they need to sell off all the junk and scraps to create opportunities for their young guys. Say goodbye to Myers, Garland, OEL, Boeser, Dries, etc. and say hello to Raty, Höglander, Podkolzin, Klimovich, Smith and Reinbacher (or whoever they pick this year)

Can't see the Kings having any interest in Travis Dermott. There's not a lot of teams that are worse defensively this season than the Kings, but Vancouver is one of them, and Dermott doesn't even crack their top six.

Disagree. Johansson is a UFA. Gurianov a reclamation project. All those young guys are not proven ready & still probably a year or more away. As for the trades not bad but pretty sure Abby is more important this season than the Canucks. Tank time & let prospects develop then compete & earn an NHL roster spot. No rush.

When compared to Björkstrand and Pacioretty that return looks too big for Boeser, especially without retention.
It'd be closer to a one for one swap with Johnsson and Boeser if there's not retention here, due to the large amount of cap space that Canucks gain from this deal over the following 2 years.
