What is the plan with Pinto. A lot of ACGM have small bridge deals around 1.5 up to 3 million aav.

Debrincat is going to cost a good amount and the Defense needs an overhaul. And realistically a Goaltender needs to be invested in

Formenton is also in limbo, I feel he might be someone who a team might decide to Offer sheet if Ottawa pushes back his extension. (If he’s even able to be offersheeted)

And with the cap situation for next year also in limbo it makes moving Zaitsev that much harder

if OTT wants a winning team they must trade Cat, they cannot afford him and have another top 4 RHD and good G.

wonder if debrincat would take his QO next year and bet on his goal scoring bouncing back to leverage it into a bigger deal when the cap goes up. barring career-ending injury or anything like that you'd think he'd still be able to get roughly this next season if he performs like he does this year but way more when his shooting likely rebounds and everyone has a ton more cap space.

1. The plan for Pinto is to solidify his role as a #3 centre behind Norris and Stutzle.

2. Our goaltending is fine for now.

3. Any offersheet for Formenton will go unmatched.

4. Zaitsev will probably be bought out.
