The Ducks have no reason to trade Benoit. Spend 5 years developing a kid from a rookie tournament PTO all the way to an NHL regular then cut bait after all that for a 6th round pick? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Then why reset the clock and wait another 5 years to get another Simon Benoit when we already have a Simon Benoit. He's our budget Arber Xhekaj. He's a young, physical guy who stands up for our star players and is doing a rather admirable job of cleaning up after Klingberg this season.
