Description

Flagging I'm not a fan of either team, but this would be kind of fun and outside the box. Yes, I realize Nurse would have to waive NMC.
- Sharks just traded Megna, which was EK65 best bud on the Sharks
- EDM takes on EK65 whole salary to lighten the prospect load
- Sharks get a #1 Dman in Nurse at $2.25M less than EK65
- Sharks need competent D during rebuild and replace EK65 (OFF D) with Barrie in short term
- Bouchard is given a larger role with rebuilding Sharks and tried to live up to his top prospect ceiling

Edmonton is in no position to take on EK65 $11,500,000 contract for the next 4.5 years. And you can't be riding a 20 man roster for the foreseeable future either.

And oh FYI Nurse isn't waiving for San Jose either.

Totally understand. Foegle would need to be moved so they can have 2 rookie contract or vet minimum contracts in. The roster space would work for EK65, but it would take a lot of maneuvering.
