Description
Meier will be too expensive for most playoff teams to bring in, but what about Buffalo? I don’t think that they’ll make the playoffs, even with Meier, but they’re clearly heading in the right direction. Using the Horvat trade as a reference, plus adding a bit of value to Meier being an RFA, I came up with a somewhat realistic move that could satisfy both teams. Let me know what y’all think.

Obviously I’m not a Sabres fan, so if I’m way off on this team’s assets and whether or not they’d explore this, than I apologize. I let Jost and Bjork walk without qualifying them, they just don’t add anything to the team and there’s better players available for depth both already in the roster and in free agency. Don’t read too far into the free agents that I added to the team. Any defensively responsible or physical forwards will do. Also added a capable third goalie because I don’t trust Comrie to be a viable backup

Remove kulich and sure. 9.75 is too high

Also, look at what Tage's wingers are doing. Meier wouldn't play with him

Also Jost has been fantastic

Too much. Take Rosen or kulich out. Also, if we are gonna trade a boatload of stuff and then sign a guy to an 80 million dollar contract, he can drive a different line. Thompson has Skinner and tuch playing at point per game pace, let cozens benefit from a winger that can drive play.

Put me in the "take Kulich out" camp.

Also I propose a Cozens/Meier/Quinn line.

^what they said

Take out Kulich or Rosen from the trade
Sign Meier for a bit less & put him on Line2 with Cozens
And probably some different depth UFAs

Nice job overall though
I see what you were going for, & nothing was too egregious

And also….
we WILL see u guys in the playoffs, so get ready

No to Kulich, he may take Olaf spot in a few years, if Olaf gets too expensive.
