If Tarasenko stays healthy and at least plays well for NYR, he gets 6M + probably 7m depending on the term

I believe this is where he wants to play more than anywhere else, so I could see him taking a cut similar to this. I just don’t see Rangers clearing space to make room for him. Probably better off keeping Goodrow and Kakko.

Highly doubt Tarasenko gets less than 7. There’s really not many ways the Rangers can re-sign him and keep Chytil and Lafreniere.
