Description
Blueger and Girgensons sign to form the Riga connection.
Hodgson's $791,667 finally off of the books and the cap going up $1,000,000, gives the Sabres extra spending cash.
More signings during the season:
Dahlin $9,500,000 for 7 more years
Power $7,100,000 for 7 more years
Jokiharju $3,500,000 for 7 more years
Krebs $1,500,000 for 3 more years

Getting a 3rd for retention may be a bit much, but who knows what will happen at the TDL.
The Rangers make the trade to reunite Kane and Panaren.

He did not do well in Boston and don’t want him back. Would not claim for free if you waived him.

    You know more than I.
But at the time of the trade, several Boston ACGM's commented that he would do vere well in Buffalo and was an asset to the Bruins.
It is only a 7th, so the trade could be dropped and it would not make any difference.

There is a alternative here, NYR doesn't aquire Kane. And everyone can live happily together again cool

They were saying nice things because they were happy to get rid of him.

He was on a path to be a competent 3rd liner. He got rocked by a couple of big hits and was never the same after that.
