Description
Losing tonight sealed our fate. Hopefully MacLellan realizes that and is letting other GMs know that we have plenty available to sell. Load up on draft picks and prospects (if this is pick heavy, it's because I'm not well versed in prospect rankings) and use the summer to get players to push for the playoffs again next year (and hopefully be healthier and younger)

In my opinion, you are asking for a little too much for both Jenson, and Gustavsson.

Gustavsson Said he was willing to resign in DC for a team friendly deal so idk if they trade him. Plus that way too much for him.

Eller isn’t an upgrade and any position for the leafs

Orlov might get a 1st but more than likely a 2nd + AGAIN I think they just extend him and don’t trade him.

Hathaway easily gets a 3rd if not a little more. Idk why you sent back a 4th

Mantha is borderline cap dump. At best he’s worth a 2nd. Likely a 3rd. Sea doesn’t touch that

Jensen like Orlov might get a 1st but likely a 2nd +

As a Ranger fan. Keep the 4th. Happily take Hathaway love his game. Would be just what the 4th line needs.

Valid. I looked at the Gustafsson trade as him being worth a 2nd himself this season (career year + very cheap) and then paying us to take all of Puljujarvi being worth a 2nd. So it's basically two-in-one deal

All great points.

Didn't realize Gus said he'd do that, which would be great.

Eller is mostly just fodder, he can go anywhere. But I'd argue that center depth of Matthews-Tavares-Kerfoot/Eller-Kampf is very solid

Orlov should absolutely get a 1st. If he's on the market, he's automatically one of the best defenseman. Only Chychrun and Karlsson are arguably better.

I was unclear how to gauge Hathaway's value as a 4th liner. Normally I'd say a 4th but NYR lacked a 4th round pick this draft.

Mantha is pure optimism on my end lol. I just hope his value isn't garbage in the event he finally gets it going somewhere and we look dumb for getting so little back.

Jensen getting a 2nd is probably most realistic. You never know what GMs will spend a 1st on this time of year and it's a bit of wishful thinking on my end. But smart teams that value analytics are definitely aware of the skill he brings and I bet would be okay paying
