I hope Benn doesn't get claimed. He is good depth. If he makes it to the AHL, the Leafs can add another D like Schenn and still have Benn in case people get hurt.

He would be a good pick up for a lot of teams though.

With Brodin out for at least a few games and Addison in the doghouse, I could see GMBG bringing Benn back on a claim for this depth reason. Benn was did play about half the season for MN last year, so he knows the team and their systems.

Hawks decline. They'll want a pick back for Lafferty. And Addison is pretty much an exact clone of current Hawk Ian Mitchell. Hawks don't need two of them

The d-corps is very shallow and the 6D needs to be upgraded over Addison/Goli. Well it really needs an upgrade over Middleton and push him down the lineup.

I don't think Addison has more than a 2nd in value. He's small and not good for anything other than the PP, and he's not even a scoring threat on the PP. There isn't much of a market for him (imo). Many other teams have a similar or better options of his skillset already on their team.

These aren't my ideal trades (I wanted Horvat or ROR), but they are things I can see GMBG doing.
