Silliness. Leafs aren't over the cap right now and don't need to make any further moves. They don't need to trade Holl, the Schenn trade just made him redundant so makes sense to recoup a mid/late pick from a team that wants some extra d depth going into the playoffs

It's funny, people said that about Engval too. The leafs don't need to trade him. They have the cap space to keep him. 2 mill for a defenseman at the deadline, someone will pay at least a 4th for that
