I can see him being moved but I would be surprised if we got a 2nd for him. 3rd or 4th I bet.

I’ll refer again to “…becomes Edmonton’s highest scoring defender.”

Honestly EDM could use the PP specialist after shipping Barrie out, and they don’t have the cap space to go bigger after landing Ekholm. They’d pay a 2nd. Maybe push it to a 2024, but they’d pay it.

I'd have to agree with the thread starter here, Edmonton has the same GM that traded 2-2 rnd picks for AA and Green a couple seasons back, also the same GM who put them in this very tight cap situation by making poor decision after poor decision but that's to be expected considering Ken Holland was a GM when Gordie Howe still played
