I’m not really sure what his market is looking like right now but I loosely based it off the Ekholm deal but threw in a bit more because Chychrun is younger and better. Also, I understand Wilde and Mayfield don’t really provide much value to the Coyotes but I think they make sense as throw-ins. Let me know how crazy and biased I am as an Islanders fan.

EDIT: after seeing the actual deal… kinda bummed Lou didn’t try to do it

My guess....is that they are waiting for a better pick to come along since he has term and some non-playoff teams seem engaged. Maybe top 10-15 in 2023.

Mayfield wouldn't be in this trade. I more so think Bolduc would be in his spot and no point of putting Wilde in there he has no value. Aho or Bolduc in for Mayfield I would say would be realistic
