If we're gonna be awful, we might as well go as low as possible.

Trade:
- Bonino (Dallas would be a good fit looking for depth centers)
- Benning and Reimer (Ottawa could use a backup goalie and an analytically positive D for depth purposes.)
- Barabanov (one of the few bright spots in Top 6 and can be a solid mid-6 playmaker for a playoff team. Crosby likes Barbie's game, so hope he likes Heinz ketchup)
- Namestnikov (I have not the faintest idea why we traded for him. Only an outgoing trade for a 3rd line winger would make sense).

Shut down:
- EK65 (Been having a Norris-caliber rebound. But his production will ruin our tank. So to the press box you go)
- Hertl (must be frustrated with how the season has gone. His production would also risk our tank, so he's also being shut down to help us get a top pick)
- Couture (see Hertl; same reasons)
