Description
Combining the buzz going around as the TDL creeps closer and my intense to desire to offload Krug and/or Leddy, these teams seem to represent my Obi Wan Kenobis. Dreams come true if you belieeeeeeeeve.

EDIT: ****. Pittsburgh just got Kulikov. URGH. That is a massive blow to my already slim hopes.
Trades
1.
STL
SEA
  1. Krug, Torey
Additional Details:
The Kraken are supposedly looking for an offensive Dman and have been linked to Kilingberg. Krug is much better than Klingberg, but also has a few years left on his deal. The Blues could take some cap back like Donksoi and would also possibly want Soucy. This option seems great, but also unlikely.
2.
STL
PIT
  1. Leddy, Nick
Additional Details:
I'm starting to think Hextall is kinduva dummy, and he's supposedly still looking for a Dman. The Blues can take Dumo for sure, and might even agree to taking someone like McGinn back. They'd probably love POJ, but Hextall isn't that dumb... right?
3.
STL
PHI
Fletcher = dummy. What else is there to say? Philly is the eternal hope, but please, no Provy offers. Pass on that one.
    4.
    STL
    VGK
One team Krug has been linked to, but I don;t know if he'd waive and I'm not sure how Vegas could possibly afford it. Plus, they don;t have any really good candidates for taking cap back, because all the possibles have low salaries. This one just does not seem possible at all.
      5.
      STL
      EDM
You can smell the desperation on 'em. And they still would love a puck mover, especially with Barrie gone. I could see a deal, but again, is playing with McDrai enough to get Krug to waive? Ehh...
        6.
        STL
        WPG
Really only here because they want a top 4 Dman. I doubt they'd look to STL for that.

Edmonton has no cap space, so I don't see them putting an offer in. They seem content with their defense corps.

They do have some easily movable cap, though.

Oh? Where are they finding $6.5M in cap space so they can overpay a defenseman they don't want?

Yama, Foegele, Janmark. Plus, there is the concept of retention available. And while they certainly might not want Krug specifically, they badly wanted a puck moving Dman even before Barrie left. Unless Bouchard suddenly breaks out, the Oilers do not have a Cup-caliber PP quarterback anymore. It's quite unlikely I think, but also entirely feasible.
