Big Buff on Cat

If I'm Ottawa, and I've just spent a boatload on Debrincat/Chychrun over the last 6 months, I'm absolutely not pivotting for picks/prospects at this point. Not saying that if they were selling this wouldn't be it *if I was selling*, because it's not a bad package per se, I just see the benefit in flipping the script, especially if you're doing it with the team you're (likely) fighting with next year for a playoff spot.

Kulich is not available and why are we adding a goal scorer on a huge contract? We are one of the highest scoring teams in the league

How do you plan on paying dahlin and power?

Also we have other needs if you want to spend money

I don't see any reason why Ottawa should have any concern about picks or prospects. Adding Josh Norris back in that lineup will only improve their lineup.

*IF* Debrincat won't sign long term, maybe they do something at the deadline, but for now, they've spent the last 4-5 years stockpiling young assets. If anything, I could see them adding, not subtracting.
