Boeser is one of my favorite players and love the idea of adding him. My one concern though is that he doesn't have a spot on our PP given he would have to play the bumper role which Oshie and Wilson already play. I wonder if that deterred them this year from following through on the trade. At the same time Oshie seems like he will probably play 50-60 games for the rest of his career so maybe getting Boeser as a saftey blanket would help so we never have the issue of having nobody to play the bumper like we did this year.

Great point, I have Osh LTIRetiring here so that spot would be open on PP1. Our PP will likely be redesigned this offseason with the new coaching staff so there may be room for two guys in front/down low

Canucks aren't trading Boeser for a winger with a laundry list of problems. Boeser has turned his game around in the latter half of this season, Vancouver will look to swap him for a defenseman or a center.

Oh yeah i didnt see the oshie down there, but yeah 100% if hes gone they will have to ride with Ethan Frank there and I think hed do a good job, but I would love to get Boeser there. And lets be honest its better 17 years with OVI and we haven't changed anything on the PP haha. But yeah If you watch a Colorado or Tampa all the movement on their PP is mesmerizing and then you watch all of us just stand still, I do hope they get some better skaters this offseason, push Backy to PP2 and rejuvenize the PP
