Description
Some teams are going to have some tight negotiations and tough decisions, so I think we'll see one or two offer sheet gambles. Players ranked by OS danger level.

None of these are good candidates. You've picked RFA's from teams that are in cap struggles, but you've picked up the RFA's that they will all match almost instantly. Ironically, I think the best candidate for an offersheet is Lafreniere. A player with high potential that the Rangers cannot match instantly. They'd do that with either Chytil or Miller. They have the extra 10% of the cap in the summer, so going for their best and brightest is not a good idea. This applies to everyone on here.

I think a couple of these guys are good trade candidates. The offer sheets are super taboo still in the league though. I'd love to see Detroit chase a guy like Ross Colton who I think could break out in an expanded role, Calen Addison too. The one guy I'd go hard after here is swayman if I needed a goalie. Boston probably matches but if you go with a high dollar like 5.5 or 6 million it's going to be tough for them.

I didn't say the OS would be successful, but a couple of these teams are in such dire cap straits this summer that they might not be able to match an OS of a certain level.

Yet in reality, none are. Dundon sent a message, from all owners to desperate gms, about self spiking rfa salaries. Not in the cards
