Description

Have flexibility to make a couple "overpays" this year. Andersen ensures Buffalo doesn't have to rush UPL or Levi. One or the other should be starting every game in the AHL, the other getting quality reps with Buffalo. Comrie is injury insurance. Probably the last year that Buffalo will have the financial flexibility to carry 3 goalies.

Graves is one of the only UFA D i'd give some term to. Should help give Power more freedom on offense as well. Give Okposo some good money for one more year and if he can still perform he'll be more around $1M starting in 24-25.

Could trade Olofsson but won't get much (if anything) for him. Might be better to hold on in case of injury in the top-6 or Quinn/JJ/Krebs take a step back.

Decisions to be made on Jost and Mittlestadt after this year. Don't think we see both of them on the roster in 24-25. I think that GIrgensons is a guy worth paying for stability in the bottom-6.

Will model what the 24-25 roster could look like next.

Ryan graves isn’t a guy you give term. I mean sure if he’s your third pair d like he is in nj it means you’re pretty deep at the position but he can’t take on more responsibility than that and paying him that much for six years is just classic ufa overpay

Paying a second to get Greenway was a hugh error.
Olofsson could still be on the third line next year over jordan.
