Description
Yes, I will admit that I partially made this out of spite for losing Kane and yes, neither Jones or Murphy are in the playoffs but I had to fill the roster so here they are on the team. I mainly made this for fun and I am not saying that the Hawks would still be contenders if they had these players, but I feel like this team is pretty interesting.

If anyone knows what other teams have a lot of former players in the playoffs right now let me know, I would definitely like to see what those teams would look like.

The Teuvo trade was pretty dumb, the Schmaltz trade was really bad, the Danault trade in 2016 was pretty brutal, and the Panarin trade was absolutely horrid. That's my rankings of consequence. At the time, getting a 1st and a pretty well perceived european prospect was definitely a nice haul for Hartman, and hes really only had one good season since. A shame Beaudin stinks and Ejdsell went back to EU. Not qualifying duclair was weird.

The Hagel, Domi, Kane, and McCabe trades only happened because we were rebuilding so they dont count.

I would still make an argument for Hartman as he added some grit to the team after Shaw was traded. Glad to see him producing well this season though! The Teuvo trade I understand because we Hawks had to send at least a decent asset for dumping Bickle's contract. Rest I absolutely agree with.

Hm, yeah some bad moves indeed.
NYR traded Pavel Buchnevich for Sammy Blais and 2nd. The second they traded away, and Blais was a no show in NYR and was dealt back to STL + first round pick for a rental in Tarasenko.
So basically Buchnevich point per game top 6 winger for few months of Tarasenko in the end.
