It’s a safe bet to say the TDA experiment failed, considering what happened in the 2nd round last year. Let’s not bring him back when Ghost is a much better and also cheaper alternative. Guentzel shouldn’t need much more for this trade to go through, although my personal opinion would be not to use assets on Guentzel. Puljujarvi can probably be had for cheaper, and I don’t mind the Korpisalo signing, but would try to knock the money down a bit.

2 million is low end backup money. 4 million is low end starter money (probably not even top 25 paid goalie). He’s definitely getting more than 2 million AAV

Is he probably getting above that? yes. do I personally think he deserves that? no. couldn't even take the starter role from Elvis on a terrible CBJ team, he just isn't that good to me and I feel bad for whatever team overpays him
