If Miller and Laf are willing to take smaller bridge deals like these, and Kane is willing to take that kind of contract, this cap structure would set them up perfectly to coincide with the planned cap increase and expiration of veteran contracts as they (hopefully) ascend to superstardom and earn their next, likely bigger, contracts. This keeps them competitive in the meantime. Not a bad plan at all. Haters are gonna hate, though.

Yeah....former first round picks playing 22 minutes a game and putting up 43 points are not signing for 2.5. I doubt he signs for anything south of 4.
