Description
they need to recoup value from the expiring contracts on this team. They won't win the cup next year, and none of these guys will want to resign, even if we wanted to keep them.

This has to be a 1-2 year re-tool, as they will need Morrissey and Connor to be the skilled vets to lead them back to contention. A full rebuild doesn't make sense to me

I would also possibly trade Helle to Buffalo for the 13th pick depending on who's available

Probably need to cut deeper, and going to take longer, no quick fix on blueline and or in net and not sure if conner or ehlers resigning so selling relatively high now and adding even some 25 picks wouldn’t hurt and have a 4 year run of prospects to try to be back in 4/5 years.

If the Panthers make the ECF then sure it's a deal otherwise swap Beck with Kidney and the 1st to the Habs 2024 1st (top 10 protected) cause let's be honest that is what you are getting at the deadline for him anyway.
