1. Accepted value of PLD to Montreal is Kidney + Panthers 2023 1st + Dvorak. Beck isn't likely going to be part of the deal.

2. You can't add picks with the condition of a player resigning anymore that rule was changed like 2 years ago, so you either add the pick to the package and hope Helly resigns or you leave it out with the expectation that he won't resign.

You really feel Beck is ahead of Kidney?

Look at the post season: Beck has 10pts in 12 games. Kidney has 20 in 11 games. I know QMJHL is less defensive, but still, it's a big gap.

No doubt Beck was ahead at training camp, but Kidney has been on fire since missing out on the WJC.
