The issue with CBJ and Gavrikov was term. If he was going to sign for $3.8 million for 3 years I don't think he would've been traded. He's going to have a lot of competition in FA and he's looking for as much term as he can get. I can't really see him signing for less than $5 million after his performance with LA.

CBJ have no interest in a PP QB and definitely don't want Krug's term. They already have Werenski and Boqvist, not to mention Jiricek on the way and Blankenburg in worst case scenarios.
