I'm thinking about that trade as I write this. Yep, there is absolutely no reason for Winnipeg to do that. Take out Campbell and put Lavoie or Bourgeault in there and they might do it.

Agreed, can’t see them taking on that Campbell contract and only getting back what’s to be a late first and an unproven forward who’s due for another contract in a year that they probably don’t have interest in signing. And not to mention, they give up their franchise goalie retained in the process. Yea no. They’ll get a better deal for Hellebuyck in the case he’s dealt.

Winnipeg isnt doing that lmfao. Campbell is a dump. Yamo has to be moved for more or less absolutely nothing to make the cap work so that's a late 1st for Helly at retained money. Oilers homers at it again
