Not saying I want it to happen, I want Leonard at 9. But if Yzerman’s guy is gone at that pick and he wants to move down, this was a move that popped into my head as one I think is fair. Gives us the best chance of drafting Willander as well who it sounds like the Wings are high on. Since I’m not sure we’ll reach for him at 18 if we don’t have a pick shortly after where we can take a high end winger

I guess it depends where Edmonton finishes, anywhere from pick 25-32. If it’s 32 then it’s likely too far back to make sense for the wings
