    What is wrong with Hakanpää? I remember him playing very well for you guys during the regular season... Are you sure this is just not a post bad game tantrum from your part?

    He’s been awful all year. I’ve been saying it since October, but people are finally starting to see it. He’s a 6’6 defenseman that can’t clear out the crease, has zero awareness, and is one of the most inept players in the league with the puck on his stick.

    The only place he holds any kind of on-ice value is on the PK where he’s alright. At even-strength, he’s not an NHL caliber defenseman. If he’s 6’0 instead of 6’6, he’s currently playing down in Cedar Park or for some other AHL team.

    I remember seeing him play against the Rangers and I was really impressed with his 1-1 game against Panarin and Kreider, he managed to handcuff them and kill their game.

    I like to call him hockey puck whenever I’m watching Dallas play. Kind of like that Latvian Olympic player from years ago, Ankipans, that my dad would call hockey pants.
