If I'm McDavid I do question the future to be quite honest. Him and Draisaitl are heading into their 9th and 10 seasons. If they dont start getting playoff success and winning more I could see McDavid or Draisaitl wanting out tbh.

Draisaitl has only 2 seasons left and MCD has 3 left on their deals. I think it will be next to impossible to keep both making 11mil+ unless the cap goes up significantly while Nurse is also on that albatross 9.25 mil deal until 2030 🤢
