I have toyed around with trading for one of the defenseman from the Wild. It would be Brodin or Middleton I go after though.

Brodin 10000% though I’m skeptical of that contract in a couple years as he goes up in his 30’s.

Though with the cap going up next year it shouldn’t be all that worrying, worst case we buy it out and pay it off for a year or 2 down the road. Def worth that price now though, I’d make the trade.

Aside from that, what are your thoughts on the rest of this?

I’d pass on Mikkola, l watched a bunch of Rangers games towards the end of the year and he is not a good player from the eye test. Could get somebody better for the same price.

Understandable take tbh, I think he was a solid 3rd pairing Dman on that team but yea their is definitely similar options available.
