Much better have Tavares: produces more, better in the circle, and from the forwards other than Knies (and O'Reilly if he resigns although I don't think a new GM will even extend an offer), he's the only one who typically shots from around the slot.

Tavares took a deal where he got NMC and he controls where and if he is dealt. He is playing for his hometown team and if I remember right, when he was available Leaf fans showed when he was a kid, he had Leaf sheets on his bed. Now Leaf fans want to trade him for their benefit and to screw him by sending him to some team not as talented as the Leafs. Talk about showing FA and soon as you are not useful or they are frustrated and you are not what they want, Good Bye.
