Barbashev isn't a bad idea, but I think he'll cost more than this. No thanks on Cole. Stastney is ready for a spot.

Glass gets more than that. Asplund gets less.

I think NSH holds onto Barrie until the deadline. They probably get a bit better return than this. Especially if they retain.

Hard pass on the McDonagh trade. None of the players coming from MTL help the Preds. A 2nd isn't enough for McDonagh with retention, and having to take Hoffman and Dvorak's contracts.

ARI declines.

I don't see the logic to the DET trade. Trading three depth players NSH knows and likes, for a random different one. If there's a role for Czarnik in NSH, just grab him next time he hits waivers.

I guess i dont really understand the trades outside of Barrie for a pick.

Picking up Dvorak who may crack 40 points if he stays healthy for 2C duties seems like a bad idea when all he is going to do is block icetime for glass, parssinen, and novak who have all shown either as much or more offensive ability than dvorak and are cheaper.

If montreal could trade hoffman for what we do in the third trade they do that themselves.

Trading 3 depth pieces we can bury in Milwaukee for an older piece to bury in Milwaukee is something i dont get.

"Hanging up the phone" should be kept for insulting offers.

This trade offer is very reasonable and McDonagh would still be the No 1 Dman on MTL's roster, but yeah I understand and agree that LHD is the last position MTL needs to upgrade right now, so it's a no go on spending assets on it.

More like a "Thank you, no thank you, How's the family? Ok talk to you later." kind of conversation lol

At this point in time Matheson will play more minutes than him so no he won't be MTL's no.1 D
