Considering he's older and had a (relative) down yr, best case scenario for OTT is to recoup value imo. Personally, I am very low on Poulin and agree with you, but OTT isn't exactly known for having the best prospect analysis, and Poulin is very much the style of player they have loved to overdraft in the past. If they view him as still having the value of a mid-late first, plus another mid first in a very good draft (say one of their top 10 guys falls) it might not be that far off imo

Ottawa doesn't need a prospect though, but would prefer an NHL caliber player
