Tempting names but no. Ottawa doesn't want 1 year from a LD when we would need RD. Plus adding a goalie often offered for a 7th rounder and some sad picks?

No.

I think the Sabers would pass it not worth one year of a player for a piece they don't need

Not a fan of either team, but I do think that Sens trade would benefit both teams. Vladar is a solid backup and would be great for OTT since Talbot isn't coming back. Cat would be great up front, but would most likely need to add a first into the deal somewhere. I like Hanifin a lot too, so OTT would be getting a good D

The DeBrincat trade serves neither team's interests.

Sorry.

Sorry.

I don't understand, the Flames get the kind of sniper Huberdeau needs to get his career back on track, and the Sens get a great dman, a goalie when they literally only have one signed currently, and some decent picks for a player who's likely not going to be re-signed.

It seems to me that both teams benefit even if the value may not be equal on both sides which can be changed by pick equity.
