I'm pretty certain that offer from Debrincat can/will get beaten by quite a few teams.
We're stuck with Carter. Can't buy him out but I don't think he's willing to waive his NMC.
Let Dumo go, we need to find someone else for that spot. He's not what we need and he's not worth $3M anymore.
I don't know why either Detroit or Pittsburgh does the Rust trade. Rust is a much better player than Rasmussen and Joseph had a solid rookie season. The Pens are giving up the better immediate impact, but they intend to compete. As for Detroit, I doubt they want Rust's term considering his age and that they're just about to enter their window of contention.
