Canes v1 - fooling around

Probably unrealistic but I think this solves some of the Canes needs going into next season.

Crouse is a big body who's really come on in last 2 years, love his game and think he could add some size and snarl while still producing. Has a really good contract too. Added Vejmelka here instead of bringing back Freddy but would be open to doing that instead. Vej has shown some flashes in front of a not great team and although he looked pretty bad last half of the year, think he'd be a prime candidate to bring over for fairly cheap behind a strong Canes d and structure. Understand not wanting to risk that much at G with two young, unproven guys so could def switch that out for a Freddy or Varly type guy instead.

Not sure what needs to get added in Skjei / Cat deal but think that would be interesting. Cat doesn't want to extend in OTT and doesn't sound like CAR was on his list but Burns didn't have CAR on his 3 team list and he added them when trade talks started so who knows? A lot of talk on Pesce trade but I think they'd try to keep and prioritize Pesce over Skjei if it came down to it.

Wild trade is probably not happening, I realize that. Middleton would be a great 3LD though so open to other suggestions on who could slot in there, or revised offer for Middleton as I'm not sure what his value would be.
