With the Kings signing Buckley as goalie coach, we get a few options of players he instructed:

- Tristan Jarry (UFA), likely the easiest path, $3-4M
- Matt Murray (4.8M last year of contract), Toronto wants out of this deal, if we can get another party to take $1M we could swing that contract
- Casey Desmith (1.8M last year of contract)

Jarry is going to come in at 5 years - 4 - 5 mil aav if he doesn't take a short term deal in pittsburgh. and ya pens would do the Desmith trade

I'm getting the impression he (Desmith) might struggle as a starter for LA, but with their cap options, very few players have played as many games.

I think we will probably be priced out on Jarry, any insight on Buckley as a goalie coach?

Send us Arvidsson or Iafallo then you can sign Jarry! If I am remembering right Buckley was a very very good coach. Noticeable drop off with our goalies after he left.

I don't see Blake making a long-term sign at goal, he wants a bandaid and Portillo to be our guy (I'm guessing after his last goalie signing burned him)

If the Kings move Arvidsson for a high pick, I see them going after Freddy Andersen for 1-2 years, he used to live in Anaheim so it wouldn't be a huge stretch for him. But I also wouldn't be surprised if the Kings start the season with Copley and a cheap goalie with an under $2M cap hit.
