I can't see the penguins giving up that much to gamble on Gibson returning to prior form. He has been awful for four straight seasons now. I'd think the ducks would have to retain 2.5 mil to make it worth the gamble . Or instead the penguins could include a cap dump.

Easy no from SJ. Labancs contract is up after this season while Granlunds isnt done for 2 more years. Pens would be sending a 2nd for that extra year

Labanc, unlike Granlund, actually has a positive value at least as a rental with retention. Pit would have to give up another asset to move him…
Zero interest in Gibson or engvall but I’d take acciari for sure…
Not sure if Pit would break the “no trading with Philly” rule for Kevin Hayes…

Not terrible but the Flyers pass. They can retain more and get back a decent pick OR B level prospect for Hayes rather than just take back a contract for one year.
