The Canes aren't doing that.

Would for sure do that from a Jets perspective but that Canes trade isn't happening so it falls apart there.

Keep the CAR trade, get rid of the other 2. Even if it's bad for Car, take out Holmberg and add in the BOS 2023 1st

Blake wheeler is a buyout candidate.

And zero chance in hell that Connor Hellebuyck will accept a trade to any Canadian team. He'll give Chevy a list of 3-4 American teams that he'd be willing to sign with long term.

Not a good trade for the Canes. Then that is even a worse trade to obtain for the Leafs to obtain Konecky and Laughton. And that Jets deal....aboslutely horrific for the Leafs
