That’s what some rumors say. But he told Winnipeg he prefers going to Los Angeles over Montreal. They might get him just under 8M. That’s what’s holding up the deal. Kings wanna pay him just under 8M. His agent wants 9M. Likely they meet in the middle at 8.5M worst case scenario.

His agent is asking for 9M but it will likely be in the 8-8.5M but if he wants to win he’ll take a cut. Unlikely with his cr@ppy personality but he really wants to go to LA. He might have to sacrifice a little if he “really” wants to go LA.
