Bertuzzi was and never will be a option for the leafs please stop crying that you signed klingberg over him.
This is what the leafs roster would look like with just matthews and Willy resigning to what I believe are fair deals for both of them. Sure you can trade Willy but are you trading him to then overspend on Bertuzzi who is the star in one of the weakest FA classes ever?

Why is Bertuzzi signing for $7.25m? .. he likely signs for less than that. They can still sign him for considerably less than that and make it work with the cap by trading other players not part of the core 4.

There’s also 0 chance that Nylander is a 8 digit player. You claiming that that is a “fair deal” is quite hysterical.

He’s a near point per game player and arguably the leafs best playoff performer. Also Bert will be 7 mil+ Without a doubt. And who exactly can they trade that will give them room to sign Bert without it being a core 4 member? Oh lol there isn’t

Near point per game? Bro, double check your stats before spitting out garbage. He’s a career 0.67ppg and last season he was 0.60ppg.. that’s a hell of a long way off of a point per game. Lmao.
