Am I understanding this correctly, you want Anaheim or some other 3rd team to retain 50% on Pageau? That'd cost quite a bit you'd think, not sure Wahlstrom would be enough to entice a team to do that.

What about DeBrincat for picks and Anders Lee with retention instead (I think it'd need to be 2-3 M$)? Sens don't need scoring, but size and 2-way play would be great. Lee would play with Norris-Batherson who are an extremely dangerous duo. Lee just go in the corners and in front of the net to create havoc and open space for them.
