I think the Canes could think about this trade if they could flip JL somewhere for value and signed Hog to a bridge deal as a middle six upside bet.

It would come down to trading to make another trade, and I don’t think that’s a great idea.

Yeah that was essentially my thought process. I don’t hate the pieces coming back but we’d need to do more work to try to package and flip them to make it worthwhile.
