I’d go Thompson over Quick. And you only need 3 scratches so you could take one out and upgrade somewhere else

I thought about him like a partner for Karlsson or the second-liner with Carlo, but I prefer to pair Carlo with Theodor for more offense.

nothing wrong with McDavid and Draisaitl, obviously, but those two players eat up a quarter of the cap, leading to huge drop-offs in the 3rd and 4th lines where you have to compensate. If you're going for best all around team, I'd maybe look to use some of that money to improve down the line.

I thought about replacing McDavid for a guy like Elias Lindholm and take a guy like Pasta. But it doesn't save me money, so I prefer take this guys (Stephenson, JVR, Mercer) for a third line because of their great contracts and ability to bring more points with a little bit of defense
