Lines I Would Run to Start the Year

flip Vlad and Perfetti and flip Ehlers and Vilardi. It gives Scheifele a defensive minded winger/C and Ehlers and Vlad like playeing together. I think Perfetti will be given a chance to play C as well.

I agree 100% that Perfetti needs a shot at 2C and I think they'll give him one but maybe not right away. If they do, I would be pleasantly surprised! I also have usually been putting Vilardi on the 1st line with Scheifele but figured he could compliment Perfetti as well. I have no issues with swapping Ehlers/Vilardi though!

Switch marky mark with iafallo or Vilardi

While I'm glad they're gonna give Perfetti a shot at playing center I really have my doubts he'll be able to do it, he's a slight small dude who isn't the fleetest of foot.

It irks me though that Perfetti is gonna get a chance at 2C but Roslovic wasn't given a single second between top six wingers, not one second!

Can't say I've seen much of them play but I wonder if Lambert and Lucius have a better chance of being a serviceable top six center in the NHL.

Do wonder if there isn't another low cost free agent that could be signed for 2C insurance, doubtful he'd come back but Stastny or Toews would be okay.

If they can't get a guy like that I'd like another forward signed if possible, a guy like Heinen would be good depth to have in the middle or bottom six.

I haven't watch Kupari play so how would you compare him to Gustafsson? I know its just the 4th line, but I'm curious.
